I started working on computers in
1988 for Swindon Community Health Service setting up and populating a
stand alone database which progressed to a small network.
I studied in Swindon and gained an
HNC in Business Information Technology in 1995, subjects covered included
database design and implementation, business management and basic
programming and design. |

I then joined the Human Resources
department to help select and implement a new HR system and develop
an internal website. At this time I also trained users and undertook HR
duties as well as completing Part 1 of the CIPD course at Swindon College.
From 1998 until recently I had
similar duties in the HR department of the BMA in London. |
